We’re seeking an individual that is highly versed in digital marketing with the understanding of tracking and analytics to measure digital marketing performance. The ideal candidate will have a healthy balance of analytic capabilities and interpersonal communication skills. The role will support the New Engen client services team & all client accounts, by designing, developing, building and analyzing reports based on data extracted from various digital marketing platforms, Google & Adobe Analytics, Google Ads, Meta and other sources to be made available in the LIFT Digital Marketing Analytics Platform.

THE ROLE

We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer who brings deep technical expertise in data engineering, analytics, and digital marketing platforms. You will take ownership of the architecture, development, and optimization of the LIFT Digital Marketing Analytics Platform — driving scalable, reliable, and insightful data solutions for our clients.

This is a fully remote role open to candidates based anywhere in India, with an expectation of overlap with EST working hours.

We'd love to hear from you if:

  • You architect, build, and ship production-grade data systems
  • You have strong opinions on data quality, scalability, and best practices — and can back them up
  • You thrive in a cross-functional environment and can translate complex data concepts for non-technical stakeholders
  • You're energized by leading technical direction and mentoring junior engineers
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and take ownership of outcomes
  • You leave your ego at the door and love building great things with great teams

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and Scale Data Infrastructure
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud-based infrastructure that power our internal analytics platform. Ensure data systems are reliable, efficient, and built to support growing client needs.
  • Drive AI-Powered Innovation
Contribute to the development of AI-driven capabilities within our platform, including integrations with tools like Claude. Help shape how we leverage AI to enhance data workflows, automation, and insights.

  • Own Data Architecture and Quality
Define and uphold best practices for data modeling, governance, and system design. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and scalability across multiple marketing data sources.

  • Develop Client-Facing Solutions
Support the evolution of our analytics platform by building features, improving performance, and delivering intuitive data experiences for internal teams and clients.

  • Turn Data into Insight
Partner with cross-functional teams to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights. Support reporting and analytics efforts that drive smarter marketing decisions.

  • Collaborate and Lead
Work closely with engineers, analysts, and client teams to bring solutions to life. Provide guidance to junior team members and contribute to a strong technical culture grounded in best practices.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL in production environments
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage) and/or AWS
  • Experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure
  • Familiarity with AI/LLM systems (e.g., Claude, OpenAI, tool calling, or similar)
  • Experience integrating APIs and working with multi-source datasets
  • Strong analytical thinking and a problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced environments
  • Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers is a plus

LET’S BUILD WHAT’S NEXT TOGETHER

If you’re excited about building scalable data systems, exploring AI-driven solutions, and making an impact within a collaborative team, we’d love to hear from you.
